$60.00 for the camp. Make checks payable to McNary Soccer Club.

Equipment
Shin guards and facemask are mandatory! Soccer ball, cleats and water bottle are highly recommended.
Camp Staff
Miguel Camarena-Corzo, Varsity Boys and former girls’ soccer Head Soccer Coach, is from Guadalajara, Mexico. As a soccer player, he played professional for 12 years. In Mexico he played for Chivas, Tecos, Tecoman, and Tapatio, in the US he played for Cascade Surge, Yakima Reds, and New Orleans Riverboat Gamblers former“A” league team. (USL 1st division) He has coached for 35 years, including three years at Silverton High school. He is the former Head Coach of the PDL Cascade Surge, Tecos Oregon, and Club Pachuca-Portland in Hillsboro. He holds an “A” coaching license from USSF (United States Soccer Federation) the highest pro coaching license in the USA. USSF National “Y” coaching License. In 2004 & 2014, the McNary Boys won the league, and Coach Camarena has been named coach of the year in 2004, 2007, 2008 & 2014. In addition, he was named Coach of the year in ALL Mid Valley regions in 2008, 2009, 2014 (statesman journal).
Also, in 2009 the Varsity girls’ soccer team made the playoffs for the first time since 2000. Miguel Camarena has been the Varsity Boys Soccer Head Coach at McNary for the past 20 years and coached Varsity Girls Soccer for 6 years.
Raul Gasca -Assistant Varsity Boys Coach Raul Gasca was born in Mexico and played professional soccer there for many years. His teams included Tuzos Guanajuato, Irapuato (2nd division) and Irapuato (1st division). Raul also played on the Select Team for Universidad de Guanajuato. Raul has coached the Premier Division of the Willamette Men’s League for several years including a championship team in 2001. He has also been coaching CFC youth teams. This is his 10th year as McNary Coach.
Matthew Murphy-
Aris Astorga-Assistant Varsity Coach. Coach Astorga is entering his 2nd year as McNary Coach. He has been coaching youth sports for the last 8 years. As a player he played 3 years Varsity as GK at North Salem High School. He received All league honors as senior. His favorite part coaching is “watching athletes gain valuable life skills through sports.”
Jonathan Cortez
Chris Chavez- Assistant Varsity Coach. Coach Astorga is entering his 2nd year as McNary Coach. Coached Chavez played Varsity for 3 years at Central HS in Independence. His Junior and Senior year his team made state playoffs.
Cesar Bueno
Cuauhctemoc Gomez- Assistant Varsity Coach. Coach Gomez is entering his 3rd yr. as McNary Coach.
Lauren Brouse- Varsity girl’s coach. Coach Brouse is a McNary alumnus where she was a four-year varsity starter. She was an all-conference player all four years and has the record for most goals and assists at McNary High School. Coach Brouse played club at CFC. After high school she went on to play in college at Colorado Mesa University. Lauren has coached at the club and high school level for five years.
Kyle Brouse- Assistant Varsity Girls soccer coach. Kyle is USSF C licensed and a McNary alumnus. He was on the 2004 McNary team that won league, coached by Miguel Camarena. After high school Kyle played at Chaminade in Hawaii and transferred to play at Linfield in 08. Kyle has coached at the club, ODP academy, and college level. He coached the first Oregon ODP team that won a regional championship.
Amanda Watson-Assistant Varsity coach. Amanda has been playing soccer for 27 years. She is a McNary alumnus where she was a four-year varsity starter. Amanda also played club. This will be her fifth-year coaching at McNary. She has coached all levels; JV2, JV, and varsity.
